Sonar Names Cameron Barragan Interim CEO and Simon Westlake CTO

FRISCO, Texas, June 1st, 2023 - Cameron Barragan has been named interim Chief Executive Officer of Sonar Software, and Simon Westlake will assume the role of Chief Technology Officer effective immediately. The leadership transition marks an important change for Sonar as the company continues to support and grow its OSS/BSS platform for ISPs.

Simon Westlake welcomes the new changes and commented, “Since the early days, my primary focus has been designing and building a solid product. With that in mind, I have spent the vast majority of my time interacting with customers, creating the vision for our product, and actually writing code myself.”

He continued, “Eight years later, the company has grown tremendously in terms of customer base, product, and staff, and I have found myself more focused on administration and less focused on what I care most about: building a great product and working with our clients. With that said, I’ve decided to move into a Chief Technology Officer role in which I’ll be leading our Product and Engineering organization. With this change, I’ll be able to shift my focus back to what I’m most passionate about.”
