Sonar Software is deploying network mapping changes that let fiber and other wireline network operators visually represent the physical placement of their network deployments directly in Sonar.
There will be a deployment later today, March 9th, which will introduce some changes that allow fiber and other wireline network operators to better visually represent the physical placement of their network deployments in Sonar. These changes include the ability to upload KML files to view custom overlays on the map, add a location to inventory items, as well as introducing connections between serviceable addresses and network sites, and being able to define serviceability statuses for addresses. These changes will also lay the groundwork for additional improvements that will be deployed in the future as well.
