The updated VETRO FiberMap integration lets fiber ISPs sync GIS and data directly inside Sonar, syncing fiber routes, addresses, and premises every 10 minutes so operations teams plan, build, and maintain the network with greater accuracy and less manual work.
We're excited to announce our updated VETRO FiberMap integration that makes managing your network design and operational data a whole lot easier.
With the new VETRO FiberMap integration, you can now sync your GIS and OSS data more seamlessly, helping you plan, build, and maintain your network with greater accuracy and less manual work.
With this update, you can:
View fiber network data directly in Sonar: Pull in fiber routes, addresses, and premises data from your VETRO instance, so your operations team always has the latest view of your physical network.
Match VETRO premises to Sonar accounts: See Sonar account details associated with VETRO premises, making it easy to connect customer data with network locations.
Use the VETRO map inside Sonar: No need to switch between tools, view and interact with your VETRO map right from within Sonar's interface.
Leverage smarter data syncing: The integration runs every 10 minutes, keeping your data fresh with minimal delay.
How the VETRO FiberMap integration works
Integration setup is handled via your VETRO account, with support for API token authentication and field mapping to align your VETRO data with Sonar.
Data syncs every 10 minutes, ensuring fiber routes, addresses, and premises stay up to date inside Sonar.
Mapped premises appear in Sonar with a new "VETRO" tab on account pages, where you can view related network elements.
The embedded VETRO map is accessible from your main Sonar navigation, giving you real-time insights without leaving the platform.
