New Feature: Outbound SMS - February 7th, 2024
Sonar's new Outbound SMS feature lets ISPs send SMS messages to Account Contacts through Triggered and Mass messages, giving operators a reliable way to reach subscribers proactively. We are excited to be deploying it as part 2 of the earlier Outbound SMS project, which went live in February of last year. This work introduces the ability to send SMS messages to Account Contacts via Triggered and Mass messages.
Proactively reaching out to your subscribers builds trust, reduces support interactions, and facilitates positive interactions when customers contact you. Establishing a consistent chain of proactive messages can be challenging, as each customer can prefer different means of communication. Built on the same backbone as Messages in Sonar, Outbound SMS provides a flexible, reliable way to keep in touch with customers, whenever needed.
