Our First Sonar Partners: Procera, ReadyNet, WISP Tools, and IPiFony

Sonar Software is announcing its first round of official partners for ISPs, spanning three categories: technology partners (Procera Networks and ReadyNet), integration partners (WISP Tools), and voice partners (IPiFony). The goal is a billing and management platform that integrates with the products WISPs already rely on.

The WISP community is filled with companies providing a wide range of quality services and products and one of the strengths of the community is the spirit of cooperation. I strongly believe that the best platform for any ISP to use is one that integrates with all the products and services that are popular in the community and, based on that belief, I've been working to put into place a number of partnerships that I'm confident will allow us to reach that goal.

Technology Partners

Procera Networks: DPI and Analytics for WISPs

I'm very happy to announce our official reseller arrangement with Procera Networks. Procera has long been the leader at providing DPI and analytical products in the WISP marketplace, and we're very excited to be an official reseller of Procera equipment. We are working hard to create a next generation of integration with the Procera PRE in Sonar, and we're confident you'll be very excited with our new ideas.

ReadyNet: TR-069 CPE for Service Providers

ReadyNet provides a variety of CPE products in the Service Provider marketplace. With over 18 million home networking products installed, ReadyNet is the natural choice for us to partner with due to their intimate knowledge of the WISP market and their modern, fully featured premise routers featuring TR-069 support. We're hard at work building in support for TR-069 management within Sonar and we're very glad to have ReadyNet on board as a solution provider for customer premise based TR-069 products.

Integration Partners

At Sonar, we realize that no matter how simple we make the process of integrating our platform into your network and business, there are always challenges presented. Whether the challenges are technical or simply a lack of time, we want to make sure we can provide you with the help you need. With this need in mind, we formed the Sonar Integration Partner Program in order to have a list of approved, trained and knowledgeable third parties that can assist with all your integration needs. Today, I'm happy to announce the first official integration partner who can both provide valuable services to help you get Sonar deployed quickly and easily. WISP Tools: Data Migration and Custom Middleware

WISP Tools is a software company who, in their own words, 'make things work.' WISP Tools can assist you with migrating your existing data into Sonar, as well as building custom middleware or connecting Sonar to outside applications and data sources. With our commitment to providing a full API for all functionality in Sonar, the capabilities for integration and outside development are huge - if you can dream it, WISP Tools can build it. We're very pleased to have an integration partner available who can provide these much needed services to Sonar users.

At Sonar, we recognize that if we don't integrate with the products and companies you rely on, we're not meeting up to our promise of delivering the best billing and management platform on the market. We're working to put together a list of the critical partnerships that we need in place in order to meet your needs and today, I'm announcing the first - many more are coming.

IPiFony: Hosted Voice and PBX Integration

The IPiFony Platform is a hardware and software solution for hosted voice services. Targeted primarily at regional ISPs and carriers, the IPiFony Platform enables network operators to offer hosted PBX along with analog line and SIP trunk replacement, as well as other in-demand voice services to their customers.

Unlike many other "voice solutions" for the small and medium size ISP, the IPiFony Platform is a facilities-based solution deployed and managed on your network. While many other solutions focus exclusively on trunk replacement or single-line analog phone service accounts, the IPiFony Platform features a powerful business-oriented hosted PBX service, allowing service providers to tap into voice services revenue available from small and medium size business customers as well as servicing the residential client.

We're glad to offer a full integration with Ipifony's bill generation platform, to make it simple for you to generate a single invoice for your customers for all your services.
